Who handles the data

The data controller is Virginia Buccarella, architetto, based in 73014 Gallipoli (LE), Italian VAT number IT05142120756. For anything concerning your data you can write to buccarella.virginia@gmail.com.

This site uses no cookies

Browsing these pages installs no cookies at all, neither technical nor profiling ones. There are no analytics tools, no social buttons that follow you, no advertising.

The fonts and all the images are hosted on this domain too: when you open a page your browser contacts no external server, so your IP address is not passed to anyone. That's why there is no cookie banner to accept here.

What I collect, and only if you send it

The only time I collect data is when you fill in the contact form. The fields are: name, email address, phone number if you give one, town where the property is, type of property, type of work and the text of your message.

I use them for one thing only: to reply to you and work out whether I can be of help. I don't use them to send you advertising, I don't pass them to anyone, I don't cross-reference them with other sources and I don't profile you.

Filling in the form is optional: if you prefer, you can write or call me directly. Without a name and contact details, though, I can't reply to you.

The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box before sending. You can withdraw it whenever you like by writing to the address above: from that moment I delete everything.

The form goes through a provider, and that should be said

The form runs on Web3Forms, a service that receives what you write and forwards it to me by email. In legal terms it is a data processor acting on my behalf.

Two things you should know. Their servers are in the United States and the company running the service is based in India: your data leaves the European Union. And a copy of your enquiry stays on their systems for 30 days, after which it is deleted automatically — this happens even if I have already deleted the email from my inbox.

The transfer takes place on the basis of your consent and only as far as is needed to get back to you. You should know what that involves, because it is the condition for that consent to mean anything: there is no adequacy decision covering this provider, and there are no standard contractual clauses protecting the transfer. In practice: the authorities of those countries can request access to the data under their own laws, and enforcing your rights against a company outside the Union is harder than enforcing them against me. This only happens if you use the form. Their own privacy notice is available on the Web3Forms website.

How long I keep it

Tengo la richiesta il tempo necessario a ricontattarti e a valutare insieme il lavoro. Se non ne nasce un incarico la cancello; se invece iniziamo a collaborare, i dati passano nella pratica e restano per il tempo previsto dagli obblighi professionali e fiscali.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which for security reasons logs technical connection data for limited periods. These are automatic logs that I neither read nor use.

What you can ask me

You can ask me at any time what data I hold, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict its use, to receive it in a readable format or to object to the processing. One email to the address at the top is enough and I'll reply.

If you believe something is wrong, you can contact the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian supervisory authority.
